Why We Built This Site
Indiana gives the public access to many court records through MyCase, local Clerk offices, and public-records request procedures. The hard part in Vanderburgh County is knowing which office holds the record. Circuit Court and Superior Court case information may appear in MyCase, official copies come from the Clerk of the Courts, jail and warrant information comes from the Sheriff's Office, and federal cases in Evansville use Southern District of Indiana systems. This site brings those channels together in one local reference.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Indiana court, Vanderburgh County office, sheriff's office, state agency, or federal court. There are real limits to what this site can provide:
- It cannot file paperwork or send records requests on anyone's behalf
- It cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- It cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to a person
- It cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, room, or address is current at the moment a visitor uses it
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. This site can point to the likely office, but the document has to come from that office.
